Philosophy
My #1 priority is that every person feels seen, heard, and understood - and that you understand what is happening in your body and mind and how everything is connected. With a whole-person, trauma-informed approach, I want you to feel equal parts safe and challenged, so we can work together to empower you to feel good in your body, mind, and life. We start by addressing the root of where your pain or limitation is coming from with a lot of hands on techniques - like manual therapy, integrative dry needling, AAT, and mobilizations - And then give you the tools to strengthen and rewire proper coordination for long-term growth and success. Always while having fun and with all the complimentary puppy snugs you want from therapy dog Juniper (aka The Healing Hippo)!
Life
When not working, Sarah and Juniper are usually outside exploring the mountains on a hike or paddle, nerding out to a podcast, or working on her nonprofit projects to train other practitioners in trauma-informed care and provide integrative mental health and addiction prevention programs for at-risk kids and teens.
