Education

Originally from Idaho Falls, I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Idaho State University in 2013, and graduated from the University of CO Anschutz Medical Campus in 2018 with my Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree. I am dry needling certified, SFMA certified, and Herman&Wallace Level 1 certified.

Specialty

I specialize in treating patients with pelvic floor dysfunction, pregnant and postpartum populations, as well as those with low back and hip pain.  I am passionate about helping women prepare and recover from labor and delivery and earned a Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist Certification in 2022.

Philosophy

I believe in meeting patients where they are at and providing education and solutions to each person so they can understand their condition and how therapy can help them. I prescribe functional exercises that can be easily implemented throughout the day, and empower patients by giving them the tools they need to ease their pain independently.

Life
I am passionate about living a healthy, balanced lifestyle and love reading about nutrition, exercise physiology, and am always looking for new ways to stay active by participating in long distance running events, crossfit, biking, and beachbody programs. In my spare time I enjoy taking my two dogs on runs, playing pickleball, frisbee golf, and spending time with family.

this is what patients are saying about sam!
