Education

Dr. Ariele received her Bachelor in Chemistry and Medicinal organic chemistry in 2014 from the Federal University of Alfenas in Minas Gerais, Brazil. She received her Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus in 2024 and has been a licensed clinician serving the Denver metro since. Ari is certified in Pelvic Floor rehabilitation Herman Wallace Level 1, and functional dry needling. Ari is currently working in  further her education towards Pelvic floor rehabilitation including the male population, vestibular rehabilitation, and sexual health education.

Specialty

Dr. Ariele is a physical therapist specializing in pelvic floor dysfunction for all genders and ages, including male, transgender, and sexual health needs. She treats a variety of orthopedic and neuromuscular conditions, such as temporomandibular dysfunction, cervical, lumbar, and rib impairments. Passionate about neurological rehabilitation, she also works with stroke patients, neuromuscular degenerative diseases, vestibular impairments, and functional neurological disorders (FNDs). Her knowledge in functional dry needling, blood flow restriction, and manual therapy adds to her holistic treatment approach. Fluent in Portuguese, Dr. Ari is dedicated to LGBTQ+ inclusivity, social responsibility, and improving her Spanish to better serve the community.

Philosophy

Dr. Ariele takes a holistic approach to patient care, focusing on listening to and empowering individuals. She integrates patients' spirituality, joys, and beliefs into their treatment to achieve the best possible outcomes. Valuing the knowledge patients have about their own bodies,  her goal is to support them in identifying tools and techniques to overcome challenges and manage their conditions according to their lifestyles and needs. As a passionate advocate for healthcare accessibility, she promotes cultural responsibility within her community and furthers her mission of equitable healthcare through volunteer work at the Denver/Aurora community.

Life

Originally from Brazil, Ari grew up in South America and moved to the USA in 2018. Her passion for music and dancing keeps her on her toes—literally! Whether it's zouk, salsa, or samba, she's always practicing her next move. As a retired dancer and dance teacher, movement is basically her middle name. When she’s not burning up the dance floor, you can find her hiking with her dogs, chasing waterfalls, playing volleyball with friends, or enjoying some smooth jazz when the night falls with her partner.
